Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+350)

The Bucs will be going toe-to-toe with the Panthers for tops in this division, but I’ll go out on a limb and choose Tampa Bay despite the fact that they have the league’s third hardest schedule.

Chris Simms has the pedigree for success and it will all come together this year. With the likes of Michael Clayton, 2005 Rookie of the Year Cadillac Williams, Joey Galloway and Mike Alstott as options, Simms should be able to take advantage. Notre Dame alum Maurice Stovall could also figure into the mix, giving Simms yet another weapon in the arsenal.

The defense is solid with the likes of Simeon Rice, Derrick Brooks, Shelton Quarles and Ronde Barber so Tampa Bay should be a tough team to score on.
