Bodog.com Posts Odds on Sean "P. Diddy" Combs Name Makeover
2 August, 2005

NEWS

SOURCE: Bodog

LOS ANGELES -- Today, Bodog.com announced odds on the impending name change for record producer and rapper Sean “P.Diddy” Combs. Combs, who has changed his name in the past, announced last week that he is once again ready for a new moniker.

“Sean John,” the name of P.Diddy’s clothing line, is the current favorite at 3/2, followed closely by “Sean Combs” at 2/1 and “Sean John Combs” at 3/1. Other names include “Sean Daddy Combs” at 10/1, with “Snuff Daddy” and “Sir Combs” at 50/1. The list is rounded with long shots like “Papa Combs” and “J-Lo Combs” at 100/1 and 200/1, respectively. For the most up-to-date odds, see http://www.bodog.com/sports-betting/non-sports-events.jsp.

Also announced today were: odds on the country in which Angelina Jolie will adopt her next child; whether Michael Jackson would take up permanent residence in Germany; and if the Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes relationship will last until the end of 2005.

Russia – listed at 3/2 - is currently shown as the favorite country for the Jolie adoption. Uganda is a close second at 2/1; Cambodia, Ethiopia and Kenya are all at 3/1.

Amid speculation regarding the future of Hollywood’s most watched couple, the sportsbook suggests a break-up between Holmes and Cruise before the end of 2005. The odds currently sit at -125.

It is unlikely that Germany will be the new country of residence for Jackson. The odds show at -125 that he will remain in the United States.

Recently, Bodog.com players placed more than $50,000 in wagers on the Michael Jackson verdict, with a whopping 80% of bets predicting The King of Pop’s acquittal.

"The significant increase of pop culture wagers placed at Bodog.com reflects the popularity of wagering on the most talked about entertainment events," says Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com. He adds, "We are the industry's driving force behind these types of wagers."

Bodog.com is constantly updating and adding odds for celebrity couplings and breakups, trials, milestones, political events and more. Bodog.com is also the most complete online gaming site, and unlike their competitors, customers can access all features with a single user account.
