Cyber Casino Pulls Into Fast Lane
30 August 2002

PRESS RELEASE

SOURCE: GoldenPalace.com

WINCHESTER, Ind. -- In an unprecedented move for the online gaming industry, GoldenPalace.com has become the first cyber casino to sponsor a professional stock car racing team. On August 31, 2002, the GoldenPalace.com Ford Taurus V8 will make its debut in the ARCA RE/MAX 200 at the Winchester Speedway in Winchester IN, with rookie driver Brian Winters behind the wheel. The popular online casino has expressed confidence that Brian and his team will be competitive in the upcoming race, and place well in the overall standings.

The entrance into ARCA racing marks the latest in highly visible sports advertising by the casino-originator of the innovative and infamous GoldenPalace.com Henna tattoo appearing on the backs of professional boxers worldwide. Representatives of the casino say that stock car racing is a great way to increase visibility, and they hope to follow in the footsteps of fellow online entity America Online, who started advertising on Andy Belmont's ARCA cars a number of years ago.

Team owner Andy Belmont -- a champion driver in his own right -- played a major role in putting the casino into the proverbial driver's seat. Both Belmont and GoldenPalace.com are looking forward to what will undoubtedly be a mutually beneficial and lucrative arrangement.

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) was founded in 1953 by John Marcum, who worked as an official for Bill France Sr., founder of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) in 1949. Six decades and hundreds of thousands of racing miles later, ARCA is considered one of the leading sanctioning bodies in the country as well as the research and development division for the NASCAR Winston Cup Series and NASCAR Busch Series. Although both NASCAR series' receive a greater amount of media exposure, ARCA RE/MAX is still the most popular series within the ARCA racing division, and is enjoyed by many loyal racing fans nation-wide.

The ARCA RE/MAX 200 will be televised live on SPEED Channel.
