PayPal has again been subpoenaed for documents related to its online gambling business, this time by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri.
The latest subpoena comes on the heels of earlier ones probing PayPal's online gambling business and lawsuits filed by PayPal shareholders, alleging that the PayPal's $1.5 Billion selling price to eBay was too low. In addition, New York State regulators have questioned whether the company is running an illegal bank or unlicensed money transmitter service.
PayPal "intends to cooperate fully with the United States Attorney's office in this matter," the company said in its regulatory filing.
