ST. JOHN'S, Antigua -- FOX's American Idol has hit the right note with nearly 10 million television viewers tuning in to see who will be crowned the next American pop star. Beginning with over 10,000 hopefuls across the nation, the show has been narrowed down to the five remaining performers competing for a major recording deal and management contract. Realizing that American Idol has become the latest phenomena in reality TV, BetWWTS.com today released odds on who will emerge as the winner of the country's biggest talent search.

Currently, BetWWTS.com lists Tamyra Gray as the favorite to win the recording contract at 4/5 odds (i.e., win $4 for every $5 bet). Although Tamyra appears to have the best chance of winning, the odds makers at BetWWTS.com have not discounted the chances of Kelly and Justin, listed at 9/5 and 5/2 odds, respectively. RJ (12/1) and Nikki (20/1) appear least likely to have what it takes to be selected for immediate pop stardom, and will likely be the next two voted off of the show.
