Players Compete Vs. Countrymen In Titan Poker Races
16 April, 2008

POKER

SOURCE: PRWeb

Titan Poker, the largest poker room on the iPoker Network, is currently staging online poker races for its Canadian, French, German, Italian, and UK players.

Each country's players are racing for 5 days, from the 15th to the 19th of April, as they attempt to accumulate enough points to climb their country's leaderboard and take home a share of a $2,000 prize pool.

Titan Poker's Country Race leaderboards automatically update so that players can accurately track their position and know exactly what is necessary to move up in the ranks and close in on their cash prize.

"We have players from all over the world, and it is exciting to afford them the opportunity to play with poker enthusiasts from their home country and even take home a great prize," commented a spokesman from Titan Poker.

This isn't the first time that Titan Poker has given players from specific countries the chance to compete against each other.

For the second half of 2007 Titan Poker ran a huge race called the World Challenge Tournament series.

To qualify, the players competed against their countrymen in Country Qualifier Leagues before playing against the world's best online poker players in the Regional Qualifiers.

From there the top 50 players advanced to the World Challenge Main Event Tournament, where one player took home a $100,000 first prize.

Titan Poker's unique country specific races and tournaments have proved to be very successful and players are appreciative of the latest innovations at the popular poker room.
