Spring is in the air, the snow is melting—hopefully in your neck of the woods at least—and the greens are being groomed at Augusta National. Casual golfers are probably breaking their clubs trying to mimic the pros, who have been going at it since shortly after the New Year.
The Masters is one of pro golf’s premier events and going into this year’s tournament, the usual suspects are getting chalk.
Tiger Woods (+150) is the odds on to grab yet another green blazer, while Phil Mickelson (+700), Ernie Els (+1600), Adam Scott (+2000) and Vijay Singh (+1400) are also amongst those getting a nod from Vegas. The field is seeing odds at +600.
“Looking at the action Bodog.com has received so far, the public believes this is Tiger's tournament to lose,” said a bookmaker from Bodog.

You probably don’t even remember that Olazábal won the Masters but that’s just what he did in 1994 and 1999. Currently sitting at 32 in the World Rankings and 88th on the money list, he finished in a five way tie for third place last year.
Mike Weir (+8000)
The champ in 2003, Weir has slipped a little as of late in both play and the World Rankings, possibly in part to a change to his swing and injuries. The Canadian finished tied for 11th in Augusta in 2006.
