The online gambling industry has lost one of it’s greatest founding fathers with Aharon Shaked, co-owner of 888 holdings passing away at the age of fifty eight. Aharon and his brother Avi both had a vision back in 1997 that online internet gambling would take the world by storm and decided to create 888 holdings. Since then 888 holdings has innovated with the rest of the online gambling and casino market to build one of the biggest brand names in online gambling in the world.

In 2005, 888 holdings listed on the stock exchange which jettisoned the fortune of the owners of the company. Despite their financial success, the brothers did not change their lifestyles to reflect their new found fortune, rather they decided to donate much of their fortune to charities. The brothers had no prior experience in gambling when they started 888 holdings, but managed to build a multi million dollar business based just on vision.
