They are not the most famous poker players in the world, but many poker followers will know Norman Chad and Lon McEachern as the animated commentators and hosts of World Series of Poker (WSOP) episodes. Their commentary, jokes and angles have made poker the sport that it is, whilst the producers have gone through logs and logs of footage to piece together an entire tournament made of thousands of hands into viewable television.

The new season of the World Series of Poker 2009 kicks off on ESPN, with viewers able to witness hands of poker that finalise to the November nine final table. Lon McEachern underwent knee surgery during the WSOP and can be seen hobbling around the floor to see the big hands.
