CryptoLogic Ltd a provider of Internet casino and branded gaming software has signed an agreement with Marvel Entertainment Inc, extending its exclusive licensing agreement. The agreement is structured where CryptoLogic retains its rights as the exclusive worldwide developer of Internet casino games based on Marvel’s characters as they appear in the comic books through 2013. This is the third extension of the agreement between CryptoLogic and Marvel which has provided some of the company’s most popular and profitable games.

CryptoLogic is based in Dublin, Ireland and is one of five largest software application service providers in the world. First founded by Andre Rivkin and Mark Rivkin in 1995, the company has evolved from a secure online financial transaction system. Apart from Marvel Entertainment, big clients of CryptoLogic include the Playboy brand, World Poker Tour Enterprises and Littlewoods Gaming.
