Annie Duke Going Heads Up Vs. Joan Rivers 20 April, 2009
POKER
Yes, we admit it, we are closely following the events in this year's Celebrity Apprentice featuring poker player Annie Duke.
Things have been heating up between Annie and Joan Rivers throughout the reality series and things boiled over last night when Rivers compared Duke to Hitler.
Obviously Annie was not happy.
"To out of the blue come up with the things Joan said, 'I’m nutty and I’m Hitler,' I think she's demonstrating the qualities she accused me of. This woman is completely f@#$in' dead to me," Duke said during an interview in last night's episode.
Duke also didn't have kind words for golfer Natalie Gulbis, who tried to get fellow Ultimatebettor Phil Hellmuth to aid in a charity jewelry auction—Gulbis was one of the celebrities fired.
When Duke got wind, she dropped an "F-bomb" laced tirade to an unnamed friend who unwittingly assisted Gulbis.
Prior to the reality show's debut Annie Duke was listed as the odds-on to become this year's Celebrity Apprentice at +200 while Joan Rivers was +500.
Here is a clip from two episodes ago that precipitated the Rivers-Duke blow up:
