Australian betting exchange Betfair has teamed with the National Rugby League's Wests Tigers.
The two have entered into a "major six-figure partnership with leading Australian online betting company, Betfair."
It will be the first time Betfair wades into the competitive rugby market.
"The partnership between Wests Tigers and Betfair constitutes an upfront investment that affords both parties beneficial business opportunities," said a press release.
"As a part of the deal, Betfair will be able to market their product through at-ground advertising, online opportunities and via a host of other marketing and education initiatives."
On top of that, both parties were very happy to be entering into an agreement with one another.
"It was important for us to find a suitable partner that provided an excellent brand alliance and strong leverage opportunities," said Betfair CEO Andrew Twaits.
"This partnership allows us to speak to a new audience and reinforces our intention to invest back into sport across a number of different markets."
The Tigers GM of sales and marketing Brett Clarke echoed Twaits' sentiments.
"Betfair has ticked all of the boxes and provides our members and fans with not only the most exciting betting product in the market but also industry-leading practices in integrity," he said.
"Wests Tigers is a dynamic and exciting brand which is keen to innovate both on and off the field. As an emerging brand in only its 10th season, we are delighted to be partnering with the most exciting betting organization in Australia."
