It's convention time with the recent International Gaming Expo at the end of January in London and the Casino Affiliate Convention coming up in Amsterdam in late-March.

In the more immediate future, the 7th annual Asian i-Gaming Conference and Expo will take place between February 24 and 26 2009 at the Venetian-Macau Resort and Hotel.

Last year's sold out exhibition was considered a success with attendees numbering in the neighborhood of 500 and organizers are hoping that this year's event will be just as successful—it will definitely be bigger they say with more exhibitions and delegates.

According to AiG's website, "AiG will consist of two full days of keynotes, plenary sessions and streams to ensure you can tailor the event to your needs."

"In addition, this year, there will again be two pre-conference strategy days with the first looking at Mobile Gaming and the second being an Asian Marketing Masterclass."

Among the notable speakers, William Scott, who is VP of GTech, eCOGRA CEO and executive director Andrew Beveridge, Asian Pacific Poker Tour president Jeffrey Haas, Chris Parker, CEO of the Asian Poker Tour and legal expert from Whittier Law School, Professor I. Nelson Rose.
