Chartwell Technology announced the signing of a pair of licensing agreements, the most notable with Paramount Digital Entertainment International.

The deal with Paramount Pictures—responsible for such movie classics as The Godfather and The Ten Commandments—will see Chartwell developing online games based on two movies from the Paramount Picture archive.

Chartwell said that game development is underway but there was no mention of which movies the games would be based on.

The second agreement was between Chartwell and UK's Progressive Games Partners LLC with Chartwell gaining the rights to such games as Progressive Blackjack and Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker.

Like the Paramount deal, development is underway for both and more titles could be coming as well.
