Will Hill-Playtech Deal Done, Zmora Steps Down

As announced earlier, William Hill be teaming with Playtech.

Under terms of the Will Hill-Playtech deal, William Hill acquires, "assets, businesses and contracts comprising an affiliate marketing business, customer services operation and gaming brands and websites, from Playtech."

The new agreement sees the introduction of the new William Hill Online and sees the new entity enter into online poker and casino software deal with Playtech with William Hill Plc holding a 71 percent stake in the new William Hill Online.

According to a recent release from Playtech, the deal, which was struck back on October, 20, 2008 is officially done.

Furthermore, Playtech also announced that one of the players involved in the transition, director of the company Avigur Zmora, will step down from his current position effective immediately and will begin a role as a consultant.

More information will be forthcoming as Playtech will announce its pre-trade close update on January 22, 2009.
