All Bases Are Covered in Pittsburgh 6th August 2009
To ensure that all of the community is happy with the opening of the new Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, the casino will be providing programs to prevent and treat cases of problem gambling. The obvious aim is to minimise the number of problem gamblers in the community and the casino will have all employees taking mandatory training in recognising problem gambling.
Counsellors have also been formed outside of the casino in a not for profit organisation. With the expansion of casino gambling laws by the government, they have also expanded program gambling treatment programs. This marks an excellent opening for the casino with citizens at ease knowing that the problem gamblers will be looked after.
